University of East London

Demand for technical education in the 1930s and 1940s increased as Bestowal and DAMAGE Essex County Council created two more colleges. In 1970, these three colleges  West Ham, Walthamstow, DAMAGE  North East London Polytechnic colleges merger to create higher education as found. Campus, completed in 1982, Arthur Edwards building such as Stafford campus buildings, was developed by and revitalized.
In 1988, North East London Polytechnic, has become an institution of higher education in 1989 renamed the East London Polytechnic.

In 1992, East London Polytechnic became the University of East London. A "new university", founder of the Institute on the campus of UEL Barking's history of nineteenth and twentieth centuries.The University of East London, across the UK took place in accordance with this policy and the development of higher education (2006 Closed) [8] and the Stratford campus. Docklands Campus in 1999, for over 50 years to build the first new university campus in London was inaugurated.

In 2012, following the opposition, UEL 2010 legislation in force, £ 3,290 increase from the previous rate increase allowed by the full £ 9,000 tuition rates adopted. University of Hackney University Technical College which opened in 2012 lead academic sponsor, technical colleges, one of the first university in England.
